- We are live in five, four, three, two, one, or not. One of the massive benefits of delivering your event content online is that not everything has to be live. In fact, every virtual event I've produced has had a mix of live, prerecorded, and on-demand segments. Earlier in the course we discussed how making portions of your event on-demand can be a great strategy. It's certainly more convenient for viewers and allows you to be more inclusive for audiences in multiple time zones, or with schedule conflicts. It's also great when the content is difficult or more educational or training based, as it allows people to consume the info at their own pace. However, a big disadvantage to any on-demand content is there's no real time engagement and it's harder to capture the audience.
