- Live meet ups or events are often the best way to create true engagement with your community as they allow you to have clear face-to-face time. Try using an online meetup resource like Meetup.com or Eventbrite to host events. According to TechCrunch, there are over 15,000 meetups organized on Meetup.com each day. Choose a single topic for the meetup. For example, is it a celebration of a company milestone like a one, or five, or ten year anniversary? Or is it a just because meetup? Where you'd like to get to know your community better. Or is it a holiday related meetup? Or a meetup around your best community members? Otherwise known as super users. Your community will also appreciate a special gift or code for attending an in person meetup.
