- [Narrator] Would you put a dish in the oven and never check on it? Probably not. You check periodically to see how it's doing. In the same way, it's important to define timeframes for tracking and reporting the performance of your content. Establishing this upfront, will help make sure you and stakeholders are aligned on the length of time efforts will be tracked and how often those results will be shared. There are a couple of ways to establish timelines. First, set a specific start and end date. You can decide to track how content performs for a set number of weeks or months, depending on what your objective is. Let's say you create a new ebook and you want to see how it performs compared to similar ebooks you've published. In this example, you could report the number of downloads each week for three months, and compare to downloads of similar ebooks the first 90 days to decide if it resonates with your audience.…
