- It's time for a major shift in the event industry. We need to start thinking of ourselves less as meeting planners and more as collaboration artists. Designing experiences that celebrate the collective brain wealth of everyone in the room and that get people involved with true moments of co-creation. With in-person events, this was easy. A keynote could simply say, turn to the people at your table and have a discussion. But with virtual, these interactive moments might feel far-fetched, and you're not wrong for thinking so. There's likely no one for your attendees to turn to to have a discussion. But you can absolutely overcome this physical isolation and have an engaging content strategy by encouraging co-creation during your event with something called user-generated content.
