As a marketer it is important that you present the work you've completed in a portfolio when applying for a job to show employers tangible examples of what makes you, distinct. A portfolio can live online and offline and be shared when you're applying for a job and highlighted during an interview. Even though many aspects of a marketer's role aren't that visual.
