- Participating in social media is all about being your authentic self, so before you get started it helps to ask yourself what the authentic self looks and sounds like for your brand. Will you be funny, bold, daring even, or do you want to keep things a bit more serious and polished? Both of these directions work in social media as long as you're consistent in all of your communication. To help with that it's a good idea to formalize your tone of voice. In this video, I want to share my approach to that. Your tone of voice is like the personality of your brand or company. It's a reflection of your company's culture and how you are unique.
