- Sometimes people ask me, Dave, I've watched courses, I've read books, I'm a great studier, but I can't seem to make what I learn stick. What am I missing? My first question to them is, have you made yourself accountable to someone else? And very often, their response is, well, I'm making myself accountable. I'm an accountable person. And that is exactly why the change isn't sticking. When I use the word accountability, I have a specific definition.
