- [Presenter] Seeking out and finding threats. It's the sort of thing expected only of the paranoid because obviously everyone must be out to get them. In business, you're perfectly safe. It's not you everyone's out to get, it's only your customers, your suppliers and every relationship you depend on that sustains your existence. Your competitors would be thrilled if you just stayed put and not worried about a thing. For the most part, threats are external forces. And as part of a SWOT analysis need to be considered before looking at internal factors. Threats as well as opportunities emanate from a company's environment the same is true for an organization or even an individual. Assessments of environmental influences require more than just the experiences of a team. It requires a facilitated framework of questions and follow up to find answers that ultimately identify the most likely forces that will impact your situation.
