- Marketing and Sales are often seen as two separate teams. Most marketers really don't consider themselves to be in Sales because Sales usually directly interacts with prospects while Marketing is about attracting those prospects and helping them convert. But I think the biggest mistake is marketers not believing they're embedded in the same process as the Sales team. Now you may not work on a large team.
