- My friends in marketing have the saying that goes, "The best tasting cereal in the worst design box "rarely makes it off the shelves." The marketing world knows design matters, presentation matters. This concept applies to you if you think of your virtual experience as a product that needs to be packaged and brought to market. In the events world, we're used to designing experiences that incorporate all five senses taking into careful consideration what our attendees taste, touch, smell, hear and see throughout our event. When designing virtual events, we lose a significant amount of control, and only have the ability to impact what viewers hear and what they see. That's it.
