Sponsorships
- With sponsorships, brands leverage other brands audiences to grow the awareness of their services and products. Businesses in the same communities have been using this technique for decades. And more recently we've started using the term collaboration instead of sponsorship, but the two are really used interchangeably. Now, a restaurant owner will happily sponsor a little league team if it implies that their restaurant's name is on the uniform. And a salon can donate to a charity in return for their name being printed on the back of the volunteers T-shirts. The goal of collaborations is to grow awareness for a company by leveraging the audience of a little league team, they are able to put their businesses name in front of perspective customers.
