Now, when it comes to a core guideline, your URL should really just be simple and easy to understand. The key is to focus on URLs that are human-readable and keep them as short as possible. It's easier to share short URLs and the more your link is distributed and pointed to, the more SEO value that page earns but there's an even more important reason you need to adopt simplicity in URLs and it's rooted in human psychology.
