- Here are the four design pieces that you will need to complete in order to have a strong visual identity for your community. First, you will need a unified color palette. Is your brand very lively? Then you'll want to use a brighter color selection like yellow, orange, or red. Or is your brand very serious yet calm? Then you'll likely want a blue tone palette. Now that you have a color palette, the next step is to make sure that you have a simple logo. You can either hire a designer or use a platform like Upwork or Fiverr and have a logo created. You can also create a basic text logo that requires only choosing a special font. Once you have a good logo, the third step is to create graphics for your social media pages and your website. For example for Facebook, you'll need a square icon and a header image.
