Why do you need a unique culture?

- You might think your organization has a decent culture, perhaps even a good one, but here's the thing. Having a good culture doesn't really matter. Why? Because beyond a certain baseline, there is no universal definition of a good culture. Of course, we've all heard about the good cultures at companies like Starbucks and Southwest Airlines. So it's natural to admire their cultures and want to emulate them. But every organization is different, and its culture should be too. A good culture at one organization may not be good at another. A warm and family-like culture might be the key to one company success, but backfire completely at another's, which needs to be more competitive and driven by standards.
