- Timeboxing is a time management technique. You allocate a fixed unit of time for an activity. It could be an hour, a day, weeks, months, it doesn't matter. But there's a clear unit of time, and it's called a timebox. Now the goal of timeboxing is to define and limit the amount of time that you dedicate to an activity. Now, you're no stranger to the fact that a lot of growth marketing is about coming up with ideas. The problem is, we often set deadlines improperly. We might look at a problem and say, "I need to get more people on my email list," and then we work backwards. "Okay, I need to make this landing page better. "I need some content to give away. "I'll want to put in some drip campaigns," and so on, and so on. As we go into each piece of the process, we do whatever it takes to make it great.
