Adding groove to your beats with swing, velocity, and note location

- You can quickly change the feel or groove of your beat by altering things like note position, velocity, or using swing. Even if you can't play it exactly how you want in real time, you can always go back and manually dial in exactly how you want your beats to sound. Even something as simple as changing the velocity of your drums can really change to overall feel. So, let's take a look at this. In order to see all your velocity settings, you want to hit this button down here. You can see all your notes on the bottom. We can go in and adjust these directly. But first, let's go to the groove section, and deal with the swing, and you'll notice that everything still deals with those note divisions. So right now, we're dealing with this cycle let's turn it up, actually, let's play it first. and let you hear without the swing.
