Now, we've already got our stock set up, and before we can start actually machining this part, I got to choose which tool I'd like to use to start off with, and in fact, I can actually preassign all the tools that I'm going to use for the entire job right from the beginning, and that's generally It doesn't have to be perfect, but getting a pretty good tool list ahead of time does save a lot of time in the long run. Now, I recommend, first off, looking at your part and just kind of jotting down what basic tools you think you might need to machine this part.
