- [Instructor] Once you have your program completed and posted out, now it's time to take that program out to the CNC machine, and get the machine set up. Now what you need to relay to either yourself or to a setup operator, on the machine is, what tools to setup, what holders are put in, where do we put the vices on the table, how you set up the stock, all that information needs to be relayed out to the shop. And even if you did it yourself, and you're going to go out to the shop, you might want to write all these things down so you know that, you know tool one is half inch ML, or what ever it is that you need to go set up in your machine. Now of course, you can write down some notes on a sheet of paper, as far as how to set this up, or you can use Mastercam and actually create a setup sheet directly out of the software.
