- [Instructor] In this video, I'm going to show you how we can use FARO SCENE to view point clouds made for Matterport in VR. So I've already set up a FARO SCENE file. And if you want to learn how to import and set up files in FARO SCENE, you can check out my other LinkedIn learning FARO registration course that will go into deep detail about how to use this software. But in this case, this is FARO SCENE LT. It's a free software, and it also gives you the ability to import Matterport XYZ point clouds. So I've imported one of those. And then I went ahead and baked it out. In other words, I created a scan point cloud, so that renders it a lot better in this viewport. And then I also created an overview map by just going up here and saying create.
