Add color in Blender
- Now let's add some color and material to our objects. This can be done in the Materials tab of the Properties panel. Now, if you remember, the Properties panel is here and we have a lot of little tabs along the side, and I want to go down, towards the bottom. This one that looks like a ball is the Material tab. Now if I select an object, the material for that object will show up. Now, an object can have more than one material. In this case, this object has a material called "lambert". Now, I don't want to use that, I just want to create my own material from scratch, so I'm going to hit the minus sign to delete that and then hit "plus" to create a new one. Now, this creates a new slot for a material. Then all we have to do is hit "New" to add a new material. Now when the new material comes in, you should have something that looks like this and I'm going to click off this "Use Nodes" button and so that will make it a little…
