Add texture in Blender

- [Lecturer] In addition to simple colors, we can also add texture to our materials. So let's take a look at this Café Racer that we have so I'm going to select the helmet and if we go over to the Properties panel, make sure we're in the Materials tab. You'll see we have a material called Racer. Now we want to add a color texture or Bitmap instead of just that solid color. Now we can do this by clicking on this Use Nodes tab. Now when I do that, everything in the material changes and it kind of changes the nature of this material. And notice how we have a whole lot more settings, but we still have some of the basics such as Specularity and Roughness and Metalness and so on. Now each one of these has a little dot on the side and if I click on that dot I can actually add in what's called a Node. And that's why we clicked on Use Nodes up here.
