Adding architectural lights
- [Man] Now let's add some architectural lighting. And by that, I mean these little sconces on the outside of the building. Those will cast a light source. So let's go ahead and add some lights. For this we're actually going to use Maya lights. So I'm going to hop out to a quad view here. And for these, I actually just want to use point lights. So we can do that from here, from the shelf, or we can do create, lights, point light. And so I create one here, and you can see I have it in my scene. And I'm going to zoom in on my top view. And so we're going to start with this left most sconce. The first thing I want to do is just center it in that sconce. And then in the front view, let's just move it up. So somewhere around there, and basically all you want is you just want to simulate the light bulb inside this sconce. So now that we have that, we can go over to our attribute editor, and start an Arnold render and see what…
