Adding lights and background

- Now, once you've finished your animation the next step is to render it. So we're going to just do a quick render of this just to see how it all ties together as a final animation. Now when you render something typically you render it against a scene or a backdrop or a background image or something like that. We're just going to put in a floor. So I've created this BG Layer and it basically just has one simple object. If we go into the top view you can see that it looks a little bit like a flattened frisbee. And so I have this flat surface for the character to walk on. One of the nice things about this is that it gives a round edge rather than a square edge. If you put a plane in there then you might be able to see the corner or there would just be a straight line across that. This gives kind of a nicer edge. Now this object, it does have a material on it, so let's go into the Attribute Editor and look at floor material, and you can see here that we've made it white. In fact, we're…
