- So I went ahead and animated the rest of the footsteps. So now we've got a pretty good lower body motion. You can see that the legs are squashing and stretching, and we've got some pretty good foot motion. In fact, let's go ahead and just view a playblast of this to see where we're at. So, I'm going to go ahead and play this. And you can see that we've got a pretty brisk little walk here. So now the next step is to start working our way up the body. Now the body itself is pretty solid. There's really no motion to that upper body. So what I want to do in this lesson is to add some squash and stretch to that body to give it a sense of volume as well as animate the spine. So before we do that, let's get a sense for how we want this spine to move. So as this character pushes up, you see he's pushing up with his foot, we're getting a force that's going into the body here. So, if I can show you here, we've got. So as he pushes up with this leg, it's actually pushing into this volume here.…
