Adding sunlight

- [Instructor] Many times environmental light will not give you exactly the results that you want. So you'll have to augment that lighting with additional lights. Now we're going to start by adding a sun to the scene and to give harsher and stronger shadows and also give a stronger directionality to the light. So actually I'm going to go into my perspective panel here and let's create a light. I'm going to go to the Arnold tab lights and I'm just going to create an area light. And that should show up in the scene here and it shows up at the origin. Now this light comes in pretty small, but I can scale it up. So I'm going to scale it up maybe about a 100 to 150, somewhere in that range. And you'll see that this light has, basically it's a square with this little pointer here. Now, if we go into the attribute editor, we can change the shape of this. So instead of a quad, we can create a cylinder or a disc. Now I'm…
