- [Instructor] Saving out all of the render passes as separate images gives us a great deal of control in post production. I've got an After Effects composition here. Spotlighting production comp. In which I've stacked all the various AOV's and I've applied the add blending mode, just as we saw in the previous movie. And I've got the beauty pass which is the combined output of all the lighting and shading components and it's at the top of the stack here. And I can toggle the visibility of that top layer in order to compare the results of my changes. So with that layer visible and it's blend mode set to normal it's obscuring whatever's below it in the stack. And when I turn the visibility off then I'm seeing the result of whatever changes I've made. And of course I have not made any changes yet so it looks exactly the same.
