Applying Arnold Standard Surface materials

- [Instructor] With our temporary environment lighting and the interactive production rendering settings established we can now finally apply some standard surface materials to the objects. I'm going to use the Perspective view for testing materials and for that reason I'm just going to switch the camera viewport back over to the Viewport 2.0 renderer. In the camera view go to the viewport menu and choose Renderer, Viewport 2.0. I'm going to use this left top panel here for the Perspective view. So from the Panels menu item I'll choose Perspective persp. Now I'm looking through that Perspective camera's lens. And so that I'm not distracted by the environment back here I can hide the lights. Remember, that environment is actually a sky dome light. I'll go into the Show menu and just disable Lights, just switch that off. And that way I won't be distracted by that. And I can select part of that hierarchy there and press the F…
