- [Instructor] Another way to describe the Bifrost Extension is as a procedural content creation framework. Let's explore what this means and identify situations where Bifrost is most useful. Content creation encompasses the production processes of making assets such as models, materials, animation and renderings. Traditional content creation is mostly manual, crafted by hand. For example character modeling is generally a manual process of virtual sculpting. Traditional character animation is generally a manual process of keyframing. Content can also be captured from the physical world. We can scan a 3D model of a real person instead of sculpting the model by hand. Likewise we can capture the motions of a performer to animate a computer generated character. Procedural content is not created by hand, nor is it captured from the physical world.
