Blend shape stategies
- We're start off the rigging process by modeling some blend shapes. I find blend shapes, to be probably the most important part of the character rig. If you get these right, you're a really a good long way towards having a successful rig. Now blend shapes are sculptural. So I have this model. We want to create individual shapes that manipulate just a portion of the face. Let me show you what I mean here. Now if I go over to my layers panel, you'll see I have shapes hidden. Let's go ahead and make those visible. And when I zoom out you'll see I have a whole bunch of shapes now these are the shapes that we will be modeling throughout this course. So let's take a look at what we're attempting to do here. So if I go up here to the very top two rows. You'll see I have a bunch of different versions of that character. And the shapes are all slightly different. So this one has the right, top , eyelid all…
