- So now I've got my basic facial expressions dialed in. So I've got my character looking up, reacting and then having a change in expression. Now, the one thing I haven't done is I haven't worked with blinks. Now blinks are really important in character animation. They're kind of the punctuation of character animation. It tells you kind of what's going on in the character's head or at least that there's something going on in the character's head. So let's go ahead and add in some blinks to this character. So I'm going to start off right around here, in the middle of this. I'm going to go ahead and just add a simple basic blink right in here, somewhere in the middle of this section. So I'm going to actually just going to pick a point. I'm going to say 140, and then we're going to select the character's eye controls, and then I'm just going to hit the S key to set a key for those. So we set a key at 140 and then I'm going to go forward the length of the blink. I'm going to do six…
