- I've gone ahead and finished off the arms, and I've also tweaked the body to reflect the additional edge loops that we added. So if I smooth this by hitting three, you'll see that we have a pretty good solid model. I'm gonna go ahead and unsmooth it, hit one, and let's go ahead and move on to the hands. Now the hands are pretty complex structure, so we're gonna take this a step at a time. We're gonna start off by drawing the palm. I'm gonna start in the front viewport, and I'm gonna take a polygonal cube and I'm going to draw it out about the size of the palm of the hand. We're not gonna worry about the fingers at this point. Then I'm gonna go into the top view and pull out that cube. Then move it into place so it looks pretty much right around the same size as the palm. So I'm gonna go ahead and turn on X-Ray here so we could see what we're doing. Now I've got three fingers and a thumb that I need to do, so I need additional detail in order to model these.
