- [Instructor] As you undoubtedly know, we can apply a map onto any surface by projecting UVs. We did that earlier in the course. There's another way to project a map onto a surface, and that's using a projection node in the shader network. That comes in really helpful if you want to, for example, project a texture from the point of view of a camera. That is extremely helpful when for example, you're building a set based upon photographs. You can project the photographs directly onto the set. In this case, we'll use the projection node to provide a non-photo realistic paper background for a project we'll be doing in the next chapter. I've currently got a UV grid test image applied onto all the surfaces. We can see through the camera lens here. And if we apply a projection node in our shading network, we can apply that map onto these surfaces from the point of view of the camera. And then later we'll apply this noise texture…
