Create hierarchies in 3ds Max

- When we work with 3D objects, we may need to connect them together in what's called a hierarchy. Now this makes the objects easier to move, and it also connects them so they move more logically. So for this character, we can connect him. At this point, we have all of the objects in what's called a flat hierarchy. So if you notice, we can select all of the different parts of the object here in the explorer. And if I, for example, select the pants of the character and select my move tool, you can see I can move them and I can do the same for the torso. But when I move them, nothing else goes with it. So if you wanted to move the torso, you might want to have the head and the arms go with it, for example. Well, we can do this through hierarchies.
