- [Instructor] Now let's take a look at how to add lights into render layers using Render Setup. So I'm going to go ahead and open my Render Setup window and you'll see we have nothing in here. So if I want to, I can create a render layer. Now we have an option here that says, Include all lights in each render layer by default. Now that is the default when you first start Maya. And if you were to create a render layer with that option checked, you will see that when I make this visible, all the lights here are actually in that layer. So the lights actually come across. Now I'm going to delete this and we're going to create one without those lights. So we can go into Options, and turn that Include all lights option off, and then create a render layer. I'm just going to call this Layer A as before. And if we make this visible, you'll see that now we don't have anything in the scene. Now we can add geometry to the scene if we…
