Creating the anticipation pose
- So now we're in the home stretch. All we have to do is the last little bit of animation and we'll be done. So, what we have here is we have our character entering the scene, noticing something, reacting, and then we have to get ready to exit. So, what we're going to do at this point is he's going to do what's called a zip off. So, we're going to anticipate, and then he's going to move off screen very, very quickly. So, let's zoom in on the timeline to get near where we want to be. So, right now we've got him in this pose, and he kind of gets this idea, and then what I want to do is now move him into what's called an anticipation. So if you think about this, this is kind of like the classic Snagglepuss exit stage left sort of thing, where he antics or anticipates, holds a pose, and then he zips off very, very quickly. So, right now I've got my character right about here. So, what I want to do is just put him into a pose and then hold that pose for a little bit and zip out. So, let's…
