Creating in-between shapes
- I've gone ahead and modeled both my upper and lower eyelids. So if we reveal the shape layers, you'll see I place them up here on the top. So let's go ahead and take a look at how this works. So I'm going to go ahead select both of these shapes, and then shift select my neutral head and add in the blend shape. So let's go into our shape editor and see how this works. So, if I dial this one down, you'll see my upper lids close and my lower lids do as well. And I get a pretty good distribution of the geometry, and it looks pretty good. Now the problem with this, is that you'll notice about halfway through each eyelid, you'll notice that we're getting this break up right here. You can kind of see it, and there it is. And that's because of the way that blend shape works. Now blend shape is a linear tool. It just moves vertices from one point to another along a line.
