Creating a camera
- [Narrator] To render a shot we'll need a renderable camera. So let's create that. Go up to the Create menu, and under Cameras we can really choose any three of these, Camera, Camera and Aim, or Camera, Aim, and Up. I'm going to choose Camera and Aim so that I will have a look at point, or an aim point, and won't need to worry about camera rotations or rotation order. Click on Camera and Aim, and it's created very small, near the origin. If we go over to our side view right click in that view so we don't lose our selection, and press the F key, that'll frame the camera. And we can also see it better if we go into a wireframe view with the 4 key. So there's our camera, and if we back out of it, with Alt and right mouse button, we'll see there's also an aim point. Those two objects are in their own group. Let's put that group into a layer. Open up the Outliner, and we see Camera 1 group. Select that group node,…
