Creating a character texture with 3D Paint

- Next on the list is to add color and texture to our character's body. Now, we've mapped the character and we do have this kind of checkerboard pattern applied as a texture but we need to fix that. So let's go ahead and first off get rid of this checker test pattern kind of thing and we can do that by going into the Hypershade windows. We're going to go into rendering editor's Hypershade and you can see that the body material has this applied. So the way to get rid of this is to simply right-click above it, graph the network, and, down here in the work area, you'll see we've got a couple of nodes feeding into body, and one of those is that file. So I'm gonna select both of these nodes here and hit the delete key, and that gets rid of it. So basically what I've done is I've emptied out the color channel so that I can put something else in it.
