Displaying attributes and node names
- [Instructor] Maya nodes can have many attributes, and we want to be able to display just the necessary information in the graph so we can avoid clutter. Right now I've got the hypershade maximized so we can really see what we're working with. Let's talk about how to manage the display of these attributes here. We've got some buttons up here on the graph toolbar. Hide attributes on selected nodes, show connected attributes on selected nodes, show primary attributes on selected nodes, and show custom attributes. Well, what do these do? Well, if we click on one of these buttons with nothing selected then it will do something to the attribute display for all of the nodes in the graph. So that first one there is to hide all the attributes. Then the next one is show connected attributes. And that will show any attributes that are actually connected to something and hide everything else. So we can see here for this dancer…
