Enabling Bifrost in the Plug-in Manager
- [Man] In order to use the Bifrost extension we need to make sure that the appropriate plug-ins for Maya are all loaded. I've got to stripped down version of the maya interface for teaching purposes in which I have hidden some of the panels such as the shelf. If we go into the windows menu, we can see under UI elements I have several of these items hidden. And I've also hidden the panel toolbar here using the keyboard shortcut which is Ctrl + Shift + M. So lets make sure that the Bifrost plug-ins are enabled. You can always determine whether those plug-ins are enabled or not by going to the create menu and if you see Bifrost graph listed there, then the plug-ins are loaded. Lets take a look at the plug-in manager just to make sure that we know where the those plug-ins are to be found in case Bifrost is not loaded. Go into windows, setting preferences, plug-in manager.
