Extracting left and right shapes

- [Instructor] At this point, we have quite a number of blend shapes that we've created. Now these blend shapes are great, but they're also symmetrical. And that's because we modeled them that way. But we want to actually separate these out into right and left shapes. Now we can do that simply by using the shape editor and the component editor. So let's keep this pretty simple here. I'm going to go into my outliner first. And under geometry I do have a backup of this head called head neutral. And so I want to make sure I have a backup of my original neutral geometry just in case. And then I'm going to hit Ctrl + H over this parts group. And we just want to hide that part of the character. Now I'm going to keep this very simple by just doing one shape, and I'm going to show you how that works, and then you can expand that to all the different shapes.
