Facial topology

- [Instructor] Most important thing in a character rig, particularly a facial rig is the character's geometry. So let's take a look at how this character is modeled and how facial topology is important for a character rig. So I've gone ahead and just put a neutral color on this character so we can see the wires a little bit better, in fact I'm going to turn on wire frame on shaded. So as you can see, this is actual comprised of multiple pieces of geometry if we go into our outliner, you'll see that I have a geometry group and under that I have my head and then all the other parts of the characters, such as the eyes and the hair and the eyebrows and all that stuff. So we're going to take a look basically at the head model. I'm just going to go ahead and select this parts group and hit Ctrl H to hide it. Now the fascia model itself has a very specific topology.
