Filtering nodes and searching attributes
- [Instructor] If you've got a complex graph with many nodes and attributes, then you may wish to filter the display based upon a search term. So for nodes we can search up here from the tool bar of the graph. So for example, if we want to find just the normal map, then we could type something in up here, but if we just type in normal and press Enter, we don't see anything at all. And that's because we need to supply some wildcards. So if we go up here to the search field and put a star or an asterisk in front of normal, and another one after normal, and press Enter, now this actually shows up in the display. So this is a way of filtering based upon a search term, and we need to use wildcards. This is a very important thing. So if I now search for, for example, dancer, and press Enter, again I see nothing. But if I search for dancer star and press Enter, then every node that has the word dancer in its name will show up…
