Finishing the hand

- Now let's go ahead and finish off the hand. We need to add a little more detail, put on the thumb, and then shape the hand to match the reference. So the first thing we're gonna do is add in some edge loops around the palm area. So I'm gonna go into my tools, do Insert Edge Loop. Then I'm gonna insert one right about there. In fact, we can look at this in the top view here. Right about there, because I'm gonna need some detail to shape the back of this palm. Then one right about there, this is about the right size for the thumb. Then maybe one right in here, just to give me a little more room to shape what I want. In fact, I'm gonna put one more here because I want additional detail for that thumb. Basically, I've just created a grid along the top of this. So first thing I'm gonna do, is let's just go ahead and extrude the thumb. So we're gonna do pretty much the same method we did for the fingers.
