Framing an isometric view

- [Instructor] We've created our orthographic camera, and now we're ready to set it up for our true isometric projection. Let's select that camera. Go into the camera viewport and choose View, Select Camera, and let's zoom out, using ALT and right mouse button. And when we release the mouse button, we can see that the camera has not changed position, but the icon has changed size. So the position does not really matter all that much, because in an orthographic projection, the lines of projection are parallel, and they're perpendicular to the projection plane here. It's very unlike a perspective view in which the lines of projection all converge at a single viewpoint. So the distance is not that important. And I can illustrate that. Let's go to the tool settings for the Move tool. Double click on the Move tool, and in the tool settings, make sure the Axis Orientation is set to Object. You can close the tool settings.…
