Making a landing
- So now we have two out of three major poses, and all we need to do is the landing. So right now we have the character anticipating the jump, we've got that middle pose in the jump, and all we have to do is this last pose. So, let's take a look at this, we've got the hips here, are reaching their peak at about 43, and then they kind of hit the bottom at 49. So this is a point where the character is starting to squash into his pose, but before that we want to stretch out the character. We almost want to mirror what we have here. So the character kind of goes down and squashes, and then when he takes off he stretches. So what we want to do is almost the opposite on the other side. So right before he lands we want to stretch him out, and then as his legs absorb the weight of the body he's going to squash down.
