In Maya: The wall climb basics
- [Instructor] Now that we've broken down our action into sketches, let's take some of those poses into Maya and begin blocking. In this video, I'm going to focus only on the moment where she jumps off. So I'm going to pick three important poses. One, two, and three. All right, let's get started. Now in Maya, I'm going to have a lot of extra toolbars that I don't actually need. So let's get rid of them simply by clicking and dragging and deleting them. Now if you ever want them back, you can go to Windows, Workspaces and reset it. But for now, I'm just going to remove them. And also, since I'm on the Linda shelf, I'm going to hide my shelf tabs to give me a little bit more real estate. Now I'm going to click on pose mode, which is just a quick little script that I wrote that makes it a lot easier to select nerves controls.
