Mirroring and finalizing the model

- We now have one half of our character modeled, so the next step is to mirror this half to create the other half, and we can do that using mirror geometry. Now before we do that, we need to make sure that the character is set up for mirroring. So the first thing we wanna do is make sure that all of our transformations are frozen. So I'm going to select my character, and then do Modify, Freeze Transformations, and that sets my translations and rotations to zero, and my scale to one, so that way it's in a neutral place. And then the next thing we need to do is just make sure that the edge around which we're gonna mirror is flat. So I'm going to go into Edge mode, double-click on this edge and so you can see we've got this big open edge here, and I wanna just make sure that it's completely flat. So that way the mirror will be flat as well. So I'm gonna go into Scale, and I'm just gonna scale this down, and you can see that this really isn't moving, so it is pretty flat as it is. So now…
