Move, rotate, and scale in 3ds Max

- [Instructor] Once you've selected objects in 3ds Max you can move, rotate, or scale. Now we have our tools for Move, Rotate, and Scale, right here. Now the Move tool can be selected here, its hot key is W. And if we move our mouse around you'll see it's very similar to the Select tool. So all I have to do is left-click on an object, it selects it and also activates the Move tool. Now we can go over to our Explorer and select it the same. So I'm going to go ahead and select the legs and feet, or the pants of the character, and as you can see the Move tool has three axes, we have X, Y, and Z. Now if we want to we can move along planes as well, so notice how if I hover above these little squares we can highlight those. So if I select this square here I can move it along a plane that's parallel to the floor. So if we select this middle gizmo here, we can also move along any axis.
