Move, rotate, and scale in Cinema 4D
- [Instructor] Now that we know how to select objects, let's go ahead and use that along with our move, rotate and scale tools to rebuild our character. So let's just take a look at the tools. So the Move tool is here, the shortcut is e. And again I can use that tool as a selection tool if I want. So if I select an object such as these pants, I can move that object along any number of axis. Now this gizmo that appears has three axis, red, green and blue. And therefore X, Y and Z. So if I click on the red one, I move it along X. Y is up and down. And Z is back and forth. Now if I want to, I can also move along individual planes. So if I select this green one here, I can move along the plane of the floor, for example. Now if I click anywhere else, I can just move this basically wherever I want. And a lot of times I find that's not really that efficient because in a perspective viewport, you kind of don't have a clue…
